For a while we have known the famous Canadian Ryan Reynolds produced a documentary celebrating John CandyS life and inheritance, with Colin Hanks serving as a director, and the fans have kept eyes and ears out for all Blues Brothers-Ifused updates When the project gathered. Now it is finally locked in a 2025 drop date for when fans will be able to stream it through Amazon Prime subscriptionAnd both the streaming giant and Reynolds themselves shared the first trailer, seen above.
In every way, it looks like this project was handled with all the compassion and grace one hope and expect, given how universally loved sweets were throughout his monumental, about abbreviated, comedy career. For this purpose Ryan Reynolds Published the following message along with the trailer on Instagram:
Love is not a big enough word.
Someone passes me one of John’s wigs or fake mustaches from “Who is Harry Crumb?” So I can sweep up some of the tears in my eyes.
The trailer could only have been a long string of clips from Candy’s movies and it probably still had been enough to make it worth watching. But of course Hanks didn’t stop there, and the producing team rounded up lots of A-listers to talk about Space ball and Uncle icon.
