The performance from Moura, which American audience will recognize for his work with “anesthesia” and in Alex Garland’s “Civil War” is one that is one who is one that is one Indiegees David Ehrlich called “Fraudulent recessive” and one like “Mendonça mines for their wrong sense of mystery from the film’s opening scene.” It is not difficult to imagine a world where Moura works its way into the awards and potentially “The Secret Agent” himself for best international film.
