Brandon Blackstock’s son Seth shares heartbreaking tribute to his “hero” after dad’s death
Seth Blackstock is to honor his father’s memory.
The 18-year-old son of Brandon Blackstock shared a moving tribute two days after the music manager died at the age of 48 After a struggle with cancer.
“I dropped my hero yesterday,” Seth – as Brandon shared with his first wife Melissa Ashworth—Krot in his August 9 Tribute Post“Words cannot describe how proud of you I am at raising me and your other three children.”
Along with publishing sweet photos of the two spent time together over the years Seth continued to say how important his father was to him and his siblings, which includes sister Savannah Blackstock23, and Brandon’s children with ex Kelly Clarkson: River Rose Blackstock11 and Remington “Remy” Alexander Björntock9.
As Seth put it, “You were a father, a son, a brother and most importantly my best friend.”
After the loss, the teenager expressed his belief that his father is now in peace.
“You have to see me grow up from a bird’s perspective now but it’s ok with me,” he wrote. “There is no one else on earth that I would like to be my dad because no one can be half the man you were to me. I see you every day when the sun rises and falls.”
