Iconic Ventriloquist and Marioneteer Shari Lewis get a documentary Ode for their trailblazing career as a child entertainer in “Shari & Lamb Chop.” The new documentary, from “Love, Gilda“Director and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Lisa d’Apolito, takes a close and personal look at her life and career starting with the CBS TV series” Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts “in the early 1950s, through” Shari Lewis Show “and” The Charlie Horse Music Pizza, “with his other husband.

Here is the official synopsis: “Before Fred Rogers and Jim Henson there were Shari Lewis, a child’s TV pioneer whose whimsical characters and a distant spirit have guided generations of children when they became age. Dance aspirations she channeled her creativity to a passion for ventriloquism and created the now loved Puppet Puppet Pupet Pupet Pupet Pupet Lamb chop.

The documentary is produced with full cooperation from Shari Lewis Estate, through his daughter Mallory Lewis, who shares in her mother’s legacy who performs with Lamb Chop regularly across the United States
