Fresh of the success of “materialists”, Chris Evans Sounds his colleague Marvel faithful Sebastic town Know that he is ready to get to the stage, as the town has apparently told Evans that he wants to do for several years. Evans, however, doubt that the “Thunderbolts*” actor is serious.
“He can say it all day, but when I really call him on it – I’m like,” Let’s do it. Which? “He’s like,” Well, you know, I’m a little busy. “I’m like, ‘SEB, stop using me in the press. Evans told Entertainment Weekly. “But you know, he’s a busy guy. He’s an Oscar nominated. He has things going on.”
But Evans is insistent that he “dies to get on stage”, specifically with the town, which has performed on Broadway in “Picnic” (2013) and “Talk Radio (2007).
“I love SEB. I love working with him,” Evans continued. “Theater is such a massive commitment. You are with the person all day every day. So I would … Kill to do it.”
This is not the first time Evans has praised for his “Captain America” star. He talked to Vanity Fair earlier this year about the city’s bold career choice, which included a 2024 that saw him in such different films as “The apprentice” and “Another man” – Both led to critical tribute and a lot of awards attention.
“Sebastian has always been really fearless. You can see it in his choice. He takes big swings. When that Trump movie kicked around, I remember thinking,” I wonder who will take this job? It has only so many strings tied to it. “And I was so surprised when I heard it was Sebastian,” Evans said.
And even though the star is known for its screen roles, MCU’s endurance tests may come in handy if he ever reached the Broadway scene.
“They are these big, giant films. There are many chefs in the kitchen. But the empirical evidence is in: they are not easy to do. If it was easier there would be much more good,” Evans said at Emerald City Comic Con 2024.
Stan returns to MCU for “Avengers: Doomsday”, currently in production with a release date for December 18, 2026. Evans “Materialists” are in theaters now.
