2025 Tony Nominations: Complete List

In one of the most cramped, celebrity-driven Broadway seasons in recent memory, three musicals-two based on popular films-inserted the highest among Tony -nominators 2025Banking of impressive 10 nods each.

The Tuners “Buena Vista Social Club”, based on Wim Wenders ‘1999 Documentary and the even more popular album, The Outlandish Comedy “Death Beces Her”, based on Robert Zemeckis’ 1992 Cult Classic, and Sweet Romance “perhaps Happy, Happy Ending”,

Unfortunately, it was not a successful morning for the above name, because “Othello” stars Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, “Redwood” actress Idina Menzel, and “Once Upon A Mattress” leader Sutton Foster were omitted. Celeb-drop-ins still occurred in happy surprises, such as George Clooney, who got a nick for his first Broadway look in his own “Good Night, and good luck”, Bob Odenkirk over the Flasrar Kieran Culkin in “Glengarry Glen Ross,” and Mia Farrow for his first bridge for his first bridge.

Among the plays were the best nominations Sadie-Sing with “John Proctor is the villain” and the long-closed but excellently examined “The Hills of California”, directed by Sam Mendes. Both productions got 7 nods.
